Heaven Luck

This is the luck of time. Chinese astrology studies how the luck you receive when you take your first breath influences your opportunities. Knowledge of heaven luck allows us to respond in a prepared way to the ups and downs of fortune.

In Feng Shui, heaven luck is the recognition that the element of time cannot be ignored. The date of a building's construction or a business' opening dictates the energies that the building receives from the 8 directions. The current date also brings energies that can conflict with, or enhance the home's usual qi.

Human Luck

This is the luck that we create ourselves. It is the element of self-determination. Simply put, it is our actions. The luckiest person in the world will still have nothing happen to him if he does nothing. Someone less lucky may still achieve great things if he applies himself.

This is the luck of the land. It is the recognition that we are influenced by the environment in which we live and work.
